We\u2019re throwing it back to 2010 when blogs were our gathering spot. It was there we discovered that fashion doesn\u2019t have to be about pleasing others, but about telling a story, about self-expression. Online, there was The Man Repeller<\/em>, a blog that broke the rules, led by Leandra Medine Cohen, a New Yorker who stood out with her unique vision. She\u2019s been an inspiration for building Our place<\/em>.<\/p>\n During the pandemic, we realized just how important it is to disconnect from digital noise. The overwhelming flow of information affects us all, and amidst so much sadness and uncertainty, writing and creativity became our escape. That\u2019s when the idea for this space was born: a haven for dreamers, for those who grew up with blogs, and for those who don\u2019t think it\u2019s all too cringe. Of course, the past has its place, but what matters most now is what lies ahead: the future.<\/p>\n Our first model, 084, embodies our most iconic idea: a bag that\u2019s not just a bag but a statement of believing in the freedom to be who you want to be. Breaking the chains of the norm and erasing their marks from our skin\u2014because we have the possibility, the power, and the confidence to feel free and express ourselves however we choose, letting the world know exactly where we stand.
